About Us

Naushad Ahmed is the managing lawyer of Equity Law Group, with more than thirty years of legal experience in England and British Columbia.

Naushad began his career in England. After earning a degree in economics and politics from the University of London, he studied law at the College of Law in York and qualified as a lawyer in October 1994. Over sixteen years in practice with law firms in London, he gained substantial experience across all major areas of law, acting for a diverse range of clients.

Naushad then moved to British Columbia, where he requalified and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2010. His practice here focuses on estate planning, real estate, business and litigation.

Nouredeen Abouhamra is an associate lawyer at Equity Law Group. His practice focuses on family law and civil litigation. He guides clients through some of life's most difficult moments, from separation and parenting disputes to contested court proceedings, with a practical approach aimed at workable outcomes.

Nouredeen came to law from business studies. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce in finance and a master's degree in global business, a background that helps him understand the financial issues at the heart of many family and civil disputes.

He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2020 and completed his articles in Ontario. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2022 and to the British Columbia bar in 2023.
